WTF!?

  • Jun. 21st, 2009 at 8:31 PM

Went to a "fur-meet" last night. Saw myself some "fur-suiters" and then proceeded to "fur-shit" myself.

Several of the 70-sumthin' people in the park (95% of which were guys [most likely gay or bisexual]) where dressed in suits albeit the hot weather.
For those whom are uninformed, let me put it n lame-man's terms: I was around a LOT of FURRIES yesterday.  -_-  And for those who have been hiding under a rock all their lives (or my Mom in particular) a Furry is . . . well . . . a person who thinks or would like to think they're an animal; coyote, wolf, dog. Take your pick.

Am I into this crowd? Hell no!
Was it funny as hell to watch? Hell yes!

:shot and killed:

I'm alive.

Why is the world making me hate myself more and more?

I want to crawl in a hole and never come out.

I find it hard to care actually.

Going back to work today after a week and a half "winter" break.
Not looking forward to going back to Eastern. I hate that place and the awful professors that inhabit it. ) :
The professor who enjoys making students suffer (Finch) is giving me the opportunity to complete my RDNG class by doing my observation hours in January. I also have another class that requires 30 classroom observation hours so I'm cutting back on the amount of classes this year. :sigh:

Had a bunch of people over earlier; Kendall, Katie, Renee and Brian. We went to a little Sushi Cafe in the Briarwood mall, Garret went to work @ 5:00 and the rest of us came back to my apartment and watched Freakazoid and played some MarioKart Wii.

My Grandam gave me $40 . . . . in quarters. 0_0 Can you imagine the look on the girls face at Hot Topic while I counted out $23 and .50 cents. BTW . . . Employees at Hot Topic are very rude. Half the time they leave me hanging at the register or they come over to help whenever they feel like it. The girl that helped me had to be like 16 or something and she couldn't count worth a damn.
The only fun thing that happened there was while I was sitting down in a corner next to the alarm. I held onto a shirt and whenever someone walked by, I nudged it in between the stands, setting off the alarm. >.<  I'm an ass!

Stuff has happened. I don't care. My computer has died from a virus. . . uhh . . . Happy Holidays!

Went to Fish Fry with my Grandma, who was so happy to see me that she nearly cried. She did however, squeal like a girl. ^_^ I love my Grandma!

HEY!!!!!!!!!

  • Aug. 23rd, 2008 at 9:51 AM

People gotta do something today! if you do lemme know!

I am one P.O.ed caregiver.

  • Aug. 15th, 2008 at 7:18 PM

I've been sending and receiving emails from a girl who has contact with a family that needs a caregiver. She tells me they live in Chelsea and that we can meet at the family's house on Friday.
Friday comes along, I got my map and address and number in case of emergency. Waterloo Rd . . . . the emptiest place on Earth! I drive 3 miles down this winding forested road until suddenly the addresses change. From 5 digits to 4. WTF? Ignore it. Keep going. Their back to 5 again. YAY!  Three U-Turns later I see 5 mailboxes, one of which has 6910 on it. The address I'm looking for is 16910 so I come to the conclusion that this is the place. Only one problem . . .  it's a road that leads to 3 other houses with no addresses on them! I pull over to one house, meet some nice random doggies and knock on the door. I thought maybe I could ask them where the address was . . . if it even existed. No one is home . . . ?_?. So I drive back down the hill and across the road. The only house that has an address of the three is not the right one. Figures!
That leaves one house. I pull up and the address says 16920. Nope. I get frustrated and try to call them. OOPS! Phone died. Wait. I have a car charger. Plug it in. No fuckin' signal!?!?!? I have to drive two miles back so I can call her and tell her I was right next to her house and couldn't find it. ARGH! She says that it is the one with the 16920 address. I guess the Dad of the house wrote his own address wrong! WTF!? i tell her I'm on my way drive all the way back, past the incarceration center and stop back at the house I had JUST BEEN AT! I knock on the door . . . no answer . . . I knock for five minutes. I honk my carhorn. . . no answer.

I LEAVE!!
She calls me later and tells me that they don't live in that house. They live in the shed behind the house . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .-_-. I told her it wasn't going to work out and to find some one else. Team work means to meet me half-way and if you can't even take the last damn step up the stairs after I drive my ass all over the place . . . . .THEN FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HellBoy II is in the dollar theatre now. Tuesday are .50 seats. Anyone want to join us @ 7:00 pm?

Ho boy!

  • Aug. 9th, 2008 at 9:01 AM

So I saw Dark Night last night. It was good. I was really happy to see you-know-who (no spoilers ) "Cough . . . coin . . . cough. . . chance."

Enough hints? All right . . . I liked his character and back story a lot. "Hez jus' a lil lovesick puppy." >.< I saw it at IMAX with Katie and Renee so I blew $10 on it, which was okay because I had made $50 that day with my Grandparents. Took them to their appointments and the bank, cleaned their dishes, made them dinner, scrubbed the floors and vacuumed. Also got to see ma Mommy and Murph for a while.

So a few days ago, on a bike ride to class, I took a good spill while trying to dodge pedestrians, sprinklers and excited dogs. Uneven pavement took me down but lucky for me my knees broke my fall. :sarcasm: Some older man in a truck stopped to ask me if I was okay, which was nice. I ended up pedaling the rest of the way to class which caused the blood to flow from my knee. The hilarious part is when I followed this women into the bathroom and began to nurse my wounds by the sink. The whole time I was whipping blood and dirt off me she was going away with her makeup. It made me think to myself that I could walk into the bathroom after killing somebody, wipe the blood off of myself and she would have been none the wiser. Hee-hee! ^^

I started a FurAffinity account. I don't plan on submitting or contributing but it's where the Sonic fanart is at and therefore . . ."I am up . . . over . . . and GONE!" -----------------------All right. You have my permission to punch me later for that. God! I made myself sick. :D

The people at the Jewish Community Center in A2 are offering me a part-time position to watch kids sleep. $9/hour sounds good to me but paying taxes will be a bummer. I also have the opportunity to work 12 hours Sunday as a caregiver for a family (results pending).

I can't think of anything else to say . . . BYE!

Nuthin' better to do . .

  • Aug. 5th, 2008 at 6:47 PM

. . . might as well post.

Had a bunch of people over the apartment yesterday afternoon; Chad, Matt, James and even Ben Klos. Weird seeing him again. I guess he is going to Eastern this semester for sumthin' or other. Maybe I'll see em around. We played Brawl until our Wii crapped out again and drove out for fast food. Matt stayed with us until late while every else headed for the Necto.
I had an interview at the Jewish Community Center off Stone School rd in A2. Went well and they will call me if I'm in by Friday. Sounds like I'll be watching children sleep for $9/hr.

Uhhhh . . . Garret and I got the Freakazoid box-set. Megan . . . you should come over and watch it with us!

Our Wii needs to be repaired. Lucky our warranty is valid so it won't cost us anything. Garret and I also have to cancel our cable TV with Comcast and look out for more promotions.

We were invited to Mikey's apartment tonight for a little fire and socialization tonight. He is putting down soil and mulch for his garden and his deck is looking good.

BEST NEWS!!!!!!!!! Got the 7th Sonic Archives comic collection. It has the issue with the Metal Sonic face-off, introduction of Amy and Sonic even gets amnesia and beats the crap outta the other Freedom Fighters. I'm glad I can still enjoy them as much as I did as a kid! :>

Waiting for work to call.

This weekend was my trip to Cleveland. Marty (my "somewhat" boss) paid for my food, the room and all the events we attended over the weekend. We went to the zoo twice. I went bonkers for the armadillos. It was like a hedgehog had sex with a baby crocodile and out popped an armadillo! They were absolutely the cutest thing! There were a lotta monkeys. One of the oranguantans was born two days before I was . . . forgot  her name though. All types of wild cats, snakes, bugs and fish. I got to pet some manta rays too. They're very smooth. ^_^

Cleveland was huge . . . I haven't seen a city like that since Chicago and I did not really enjoy it. I prefer Ann Arbor because there is more then just concrete and car exhaust. The Tower City was a giant mall and we got lost in it quite a lot . . . finding were to go in that city was REALLY hard! Finding a parking space???? $5 minimum and you would have to park ,on average a 30 minute walk from your destination. That is just DUMB. :sigh:

Walking with dinosaurs was awesome!
The choreography was great. The sound was spectacular and the art design was stupendous. A little girl behind us cried when the T-Rex roared at us! LOL They kept us waiting two hours to get in and the food was grossly overpriced. $4.75 for a hot dog and everything was stale. :sigh again: It didnt stop me from liking the show.

Corey, the boy with autism that I watch over was a little "Jekyll and Hyde". He loved to cuddle and we even played in the pool at the hotel but I got punched twice before we left from the hotel on Sunday. :shrugs: A typcial outburst of a child with autism. I believe (not proven) that the violent outbursts are either a compuslive, uncontrollable action or how he shows his frustration (he cannot really speak after all so we usually do not know what he wants). I know that would make me frustrated! He is a picky ass eater and wastes a lotta food . . . which makes me sad.

The trip there and back was LONG and by the time I got home I was more then greatful. I could not handle Corey nor his Grandma 24/7. :shakes head:

Garret and I saw Wall-E . . . . . . 0_0 Cutest movie ever! If you haven't seen it watch it now or I will smuggle you in like a Mexican with cocaine. Okay. Bad reference . . . but go see it and your eyes will bleed with tears of cuteness.
GO! )

A Long Lost Update

  • Jun. 21st, 2008 at 8:00 PM

Been almost two months. My laptop adapter is ca-put-ski and they finally reformatted the livejournal password reset. Thank god! I can actually enter in my own password that I will remember now instead of some randomly generated number and letters. But that is not why I am posting.

I got a job now and it is probably the best job I could have had. A Community Living Network Association is paying a family to have me deliver community living hours and respite to a 12 year old boy with autism. In lame-terms, I get to take a 12 year old out on the town (garage sales, movies, plays ect) and get paid for it. I actually got paid to go to the circus in Bellville yesterday. It was all free too. HooT! Went to garage sales with him today for two hours. I bought a Murray SandPiper bike with excellent shocks and new tires for $15. SQUEE~

The family are offering me the opportunity to go to Cleveland with them next weekend on an all-expense-paid-trip and I would get paid as if it were 8 hrs each day for my attendance with Cory. :so happy: Cory is a sweetie too. OMG hugs and kisses and affection. He has autism so he understands spoken word but cannot make conversation with others. He is yet to have a tantrum with me but I am not looking forward to the so-called physical outbursts.

I've been riding my old crappy bike to and from school almost every day to save on gas. I get good exercise and it feels good. Peanut is getting huge and she has been sleeping in bed with us lately at night. She is incredibly well behaved and once the lights are off she is out.

I saw Joe at Sushi Zen. FYI: Joe is the waiter that used to work at Great China and had a huge crush on me. It was crazy seeing him again and at the best sushi resteraunt I know too.

Katie's party was the win! Hot-tub, cupcakes, friends, Appples to Apples, Smash Bros. and much more. She has the best parties. I got to see Brian and Vanessa again, even Tree, Erin, Kendall, Rob, Anthony and Henry.

I'm the one that gets stuck paying the bills online every month for Comcast, DTE energy and my Chase account. Garret is in the dark when it comes to paying bills . . . he just gives me what he owes me in hard cash at a later date. Must be pretty easy to not have any deadlines to worry about.
I guess all my hard work somewhat pays off because I ordered a bunch of gift certificates with my credit card reward points. YAY! ^_^

A-N-Y-W-A-Y-S! The house is a complete mess. I clean it a little and it goes back to the same damn thing. I wish I could pay someone by the hour to do my dishes. $8 . . . seriously. It sucks not having a dishwasher.

I cannot wait until I have a bike here so I can start riding it to my spring classes starting May 5th. Gas prices make me depressed every time I see them. I watched a special on a French engineered CAT car called a MDI. CAT = Compressed Air Technology. They were trying to get a four cylinder on the market for a mere $7000.  It could run 600 miles on a tank of gas along with it's CAT. Amazing! America is so god damn afraid of change though, I doubt it'll make it to the market at all. :sigh:

Tree took me out at random to a Tim Horton's / Wendy's. I guess it was his way of making amends? :shrugs: I like free food! Afterwards Garret and I went to Megan and Kelly's apartment. We went to eat at Applebees, wished Kelley a happy birthday and I got to borrow a ridiculous manga called Absolute Boyfriend by Yuu Watase. It's basically Chobits but for girls. LOL . . . mail-order animated love doll.

Went to fish on Friday with my Mom, Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma misses me so much. It makes me happy to see here squeal with delight when I'm waiting in the car to greet her. ^_^

Garret also took me out to lunch that same day. To the Time Horton's / Wendys. I got the same thing but man was it goood!
My Dad just called to take me out to lunch . . . I got to go buy him a present because his birthday is tomorrow. Adios!

A personal update

  • Apr. 9th, 2008 at 4:01 PM

It's been a very busy week. Friday, I had work with the kids and as always it was a ball of stress. D&D was afterwards. Saturday, I worked on Lesso Plan #4 of 10. :sigh: I also took Garret out for sushi at Godaiko which was soooooo expensive. $30 just to leave on a full stomach.
I rehearsed my peer teaching presentation and presented on Tues. The overhead activiation was a mess but the presentation went absolutely amazing! 90% ^_^
I had to make a DIY superhero cap to wear into my curriculum class . . . yep my professor is crazy. It is a bunch of carboard fish tied together covered in fabric and decorated with sticky foam shapes that the kids had  gotten for me. It broke once I got to class. :sigh: Oh well.

Peanut is afraid of the neighbor girl. Everytime he is sitting with me on the couch and she walks by the window he gets very scared and races to hide behind his mommy. SQUEEE! >.< So cute!

I started to write a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic (yes, you can all laugh at me now). I met this wonderful 17 year old girl on the internet who had an amazing talent for writing and she encouraged me to give it a shot. Call it manipulative or just plain convincing but I look up to her so I'll take her word.

I got to do 5 more five page lesson plans by next Thursday and complete my unit for turn in. It's getting to the end and I can feel the crunch time already. I got thee Spring classes; BIOL 303, SPGN 390 and MATH 098A. So no breaks for me! ^_^

I watched the kids for 8 hours on Monday which slowly drove me insane. It was fun playing in the park on such a nice day though. Being with the kids, I get to do all the stuff I would love to do without people looking at me funny and saying stuff like, "Why is that college student playing on a jungle gym?"

I went to Ian's IEP today. (Individualized Education Program) which was very enlighting for me. Four hours of sitting is hard on me. The staff are trying to put him in a special education class even though inclusion is the law by the Individuals with Disabilities Act. :shrugs:

Sunday, I spent all day at my Mom and Dads doing laundry. I cleaned my Grandmas house and went to Quiznos for dinner with her. I love Prime Rib. YUM!!

The right way to D&D.

  • Apr. 5th, 2008 at 11:55 AM
